And so, having tried hard to forgive CCP - creators of EVE Online - I have failed and became despondent. Patching and installing the game client have now become a Job rather than an exciting prospect. I have therefore followed in the footsteps of many of my friends that have gone before and unsubscribed. Until I hear good things about EVE Online's Quality Assurance processes I will remain unsubscribed.

Null-sec Corporation Member Participation as a Management Style

Recently our alliance has acquired residence in a far-off region in null-sec. By far-off I mean high-sec is far from this location. This set my mind to thinking; I have always been of the opinion that a pilot with reasonable skills should be almost as effective with all T1 (Base Tech 1, meta zero) equipment with full fleet bonuses applied as a pilot using T2 equipment. In addition I believe that the larger the fleet size the the more insignificant the difference.
